A New Year and New Learnings

Happy New Year.  At the end of last year, I attended training on Test Driven Development and Object Oriented Design.  During this training, I was made aware of two books that I now think of as critical for software developers:

1) Clean Code: A Handbook of Agile Software Craftsmanship – http://www.amazon.com/Clean-Code-Handbook-Craftsmanship-ebook/dp/B001GSTOAM/ref=tmm_kin_title_0?ie=UTF8&qid=1357852219&sr=8-1

2) Head First Design Patterns – http://www.amazon.com/Head-First-Design-Patterns-ebook/dp/B00AA36RZY/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1357852331&sr=1-1&keywords=head+first+design+patterns+kindle

I’ve also become a huge fan of www.pluralsight.com for online training.  I’ll do a later post on specific training that I’ve found valuable on this site.
